Fink Engineering (FE) pioneered the design and development of the rectangular shape for hyperbaric chambers back in 1994 and were the first company internationally to design such a chamber (for the Royal Adelaide Hospital) which has been used effectively ever since. We recognised early on that this shape would ultimately become the standard for all future medical hyperbaric treatment facilities simply because of its user friendly design if indeed we could build them cost effectively. Our track record proves that we have successfully achieved this goal with our chambers now operating not only in Australia but also in the USA, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand and the Middle East and soon to be in Europe.
In addition, we are the Australian Distributor for the Sechrist range of Monoplace chambers and were the first to develop a Fire Deluge capability for their chambers in line with Australian Standard 4774.2 (2002) a number of which are now successfully installed in Australia.
Fink Engineering is fully accredited for the supply of their unique systems and was the first company to be recognized by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration for the supply of Hyperbaric Systems with an ARTG number (182494 Class 11b). FE also is registered with the FDA for supply of equipment in the USA and holds international quality certification ISO 9001 and ISO13485.
FE now provides ongoing Maintenance Support for its installed equipment world wide as part of our service to the hyperbaric community.
Lastly, FE still provides consultancy and components for the US Navy including our Standard Navy Double Lock Medical Lock which is now an integral part of the U.S. Navy’s SNDL.
